Short Story Award

Can you write a short story set no less than fifty years ago? The HNS 2016 short story competition is open to all participating delegates, whether members of the HNS or not.

It is a very popular competition open to writers who are unpublished, published and indie published. This year’s competition will be judged by Deborah Swift, Lorna Fergusson and Ouida Taffe. The final three stories will be placed by Ian Skillicorn of Corazon Books.

The prize is one year’s free subscription to the HNS, £100 and the HNS Short Story Cup.

The Short Story Award is now closed. Good luck to everyone who entered!
