Coach tour £40.00 per person*

If you prefer to travel a little further afield, a visit to Blenheim Palace at Woodstock is a wonderful day out.

Blenheim Palace was built in the early 18th Century to celebrate victory over the French in the War of the Spanish Succession. To honour the Duke of Marlborough’s heroic victories, Queen Anne granted his family the ruined Royal Manor and park at Woodstock, along with £240,000 with which to build a house to mark the occasion. The result, designed by Vanbrugh, is a masterpiece of Baroque architecture and one of England’s most stunning palaces. The Blenheim Palace State Rooms house some of the finest collections of furniture, china, tapestry and paintings in Europe. The palace is set in glorious gardens designed by Capability Brown.

For more information visit: blenheimpalace.com

Delegates will travel to Blenheim Palace on either minibus or coach leaving at 11am and returning at approximately 3.30pm. The price includes a minibus or coach guide and entrance to Blenheim Palace, Park and Gardens but excludes lunch. There are frequent tours of the Palace led by Blenheim’s own guides, taking approximately 30 minutes. Delegates are then free to wander at leisure and buy lunch in The Water Terrace Café, The Oxfordshire Pantry or The Pleasure Gardens Deli, all on site at the Palace.

* The tour price of £40.00 per person allows for one 12 seater minibus or a 26 seater minicoach. If there are sufficient numbers we will book both. Please book early to avoid disappointment!
